Lydian Degreaser is a ready for use, blue coloured emulsifiable fluid, manufactured from a mixture of hydrocarbon solvents and a non-ionic detergent. This powerful degreasing formulation acts by splitting the bond between solid dirt and oily matter, so that the surface can then be washed clean with water. It has an extremely effective cleaning action on all surfaces, even at low ambient temperature. Lydian is non-caustic, it will not corrode metal parts and washes away cleanly without leaving any harmful or corrosive residues on the surfaces.

Applications
Recommended for removal of oil grease and dirt from metal, paintwork and concrete. Typical uses include cleaning used engines prior to overhaul, removing build-up on pipes and steelworks, cleaning concrete and brickwork. Many uses can be found in factories, yards and compounds, where oil and grease build up is a problem, or perhaps even dangerous for vehicles and pedestrians. Lydian is always more effective if it can be allowed to soak into the dirt and surfaces for several hours, or even overnight before hosing off. Lydian is easily applied by spraying, brush or dipping. Do not use Lydian on Tarmac as it will soften this type of surfacing. It is also not advisable to use Lydian in parts washers with plastic components as its aggressive nature may harm them. Under no circumstances should this product, neat or diluted, be disposed of by putting into drains, soil or water courses.
