Salary: £Competitive

Full Time 39.5 Hours Monday-Friday

We have an opportunity within our Export Sales department for someone to join the team. The ideal candidate will have worked in a shipping department before, however we are open to applicants with a sales administration background. Suitable applicants will be able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with overseas customers and freight operators, have good IT skills and be able to demonstrate the organisational skills associated with the role.

Main Objective

To prepare, record, monitor and process export documentation for customers outside of the UK in support of the Company's business plan, quality standards and operational objectives.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices from customer orders.
  • Compile packing lists.
  • Ensure correct preparation of customs documentation.
  • Liaise with customers concerning order despatch.
  • Ensure maintenance of competitive shipping/air freight costs.
  • Advise on export documentation procedures
  • Check and approve courier invoices.
  • Any other duties as required and as commensurate with the role
